As part of the SGCRA's efforts to build community in our neighbourhood we've launched a "Call Your Neighbour" scheme to facilitate a regular check-in or chat for any neighbours who'd like it.

SGCRA are very unhappy about the 3 week closure of Merrion Square for Taste of Dublin - a 4 day commercial event that has no public access. If we want to make Dublin a living city DCC can't close off heavily used amenity space at the height of summer.

As June starts good it is to see the problem of flimsy bin bags on our streets being pecked open by seagulls get some media focus.

It was incredible to be able to make out the Northern Lights in the area despite the ambient light in the city from street lamps.
